Obsession

Sean came home early from work today. Is he sick?

Only if you call an obsession with Carolina Basketball a sickness...

Go Tarheels!

Cooper's first ice cream cone

Well...not really an ice cream cone, but a Cooper sized spoon that looks like an ice cream cone.
I knew I saved these tins for something...
Notice the ice cream spoon still hanging out of his mouth...

This and That

We've been lovin' the warm weather recently. What have we been up to? I'm so glad you asked.

A little of this:

A little of that (there's a smile behind there, I assure you):

And a whole lot of this:

As you can see, we now have an official crawler on hands and knees. Whew! is all I can say! He's into EVERYTHING and is FAST! Parker's water bowl seems to be a favorite attraction. I also seem to be constantly be digging things out of his mouth... a teeny tiny (miniscule, really) rock, a piece of grass, and a woodchip at the park yesterday that I SWEAR I don't know where he got because I was watching him like a hawk. I am vacuuming/swiffering the floors almost daily and he still finds things.

Cooper is also greeting us by sitting in his crib in the mornings instead of just laying there and calling for us like he used to. He has also pulled up on the side of the bathtub multiple times but I didn't have a camera handy. We've also pretty much made the switch from baby food to people food and boy, can he eat! He loves any and everything. He even ate some steamed broccoli last night. YEA! Can you believe that he turned 11 months old yesterday?? Neither can we!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Out our front window...

Out our back window... with Parker trails! Notice how bent over the trees are. They normally form a barrier between our house and the neighbors.

They say that we got between 4 and 5 inches, which seems right on par. I haven't measured and we haven't been out in the snow yet. It's only 32 degrees and is not melting at all. Our street is very icy! Sean had to go to work this morning with the X-Terra in 4 Wheel Drive to get out of our street and has to work late tonight so I hope that he makes it back home safely.
